Interactive Process Facilitation and Guidance

RWI assists employers (ER) with Temporary Transitional Tasks Assignments and Interactive Accommodation Assessment Meetings to ensure compliance related to FEHA. RWI consultants work as a neutral party with ER in the development of Transitional Task Assignments. Transitional Tasks can be identified as early as 30 days Temporary Total Disability. Our consultants commence interactive process at time of notification of temporary restrictions. We work closely with ER and injured employee (IE) regarding new restrictions and transitional task assignment. We monitor physician appointments for identification of new restrictions.

Program Features:

Consultants work as a neutral party to facilitate the employer Interactive Accommodation Meeting.
Ensure clear medical restrictions have been provided.
Examine Demands of the Usual & Customary position as it relates to possible accommodations.
Ensure response to IE suggestions for accommodations have been addressed prior to final determination.
Examine available alternative positions.
Complete Interactive Accommodation Assessment Summary for review and signature by all participants.
